I am a seasoned horticulturist with a Royal Horticultural Society qualification and over three decades of experience, predominantly in the realm of garden plants. My time in the wholesale nursery trade has allowed me to cultivate award-winning shrubs and perennials, and my garden design certification from The Institute of Garden Design equips me to provide expert advice and service for your garden projects. My speciality lies in garden renovations, garden makeovers, and planting schemes. I am also a registered member of the Gardeners Guild.

I personally carry out all the work to ensure a top-tier, dependable, high-quality gardening service for all my clients. If you're considering a garden makeover or planting scheme, January to May is the ideal time to contact me, as June to October is the busiest part of my season. However, please feel free to contact me at any time of the year, and I will strive to accommodate you. I utilise time-honoured techniques from our nation's finest historic gardens to keep your garden in pristine condition throughout the year. Garden Maintenance

My primary service is Year-Round Garden Maintenance, which I personally conduct to deliver the highest standard of service. Please note that my availability for this service is limited, as I handle all the tasks myself. My year-round service comprises fortnightly visits from April to October and monthly visits from November to March, with additional visits added as needed for tasks such as hedge cutting. I will cut and edge your lawns, weed and hoe your borders, conduct all necessary pruning at the appropriate time, keep paths clear of weeds and debris, and cut hedges as required. This service has garnered considerable popularity over the years, and I am pleased to still serve customers from my inaugural season, which I believe is a testament to the quality of my service. I am also available for one-off jobs or seasonal maintenance tasks throughout the year. I have a loyal set of clients whom I visit a few times a year to assist with heavy tasks while they manage the rest of their gardens.

Planting Schemes

As a qualified garden designer and horticulturist, I am adept at creating planting schemes that cater to your specific tastes and garden conditions. I can provide plans and plant lists, and source the plants for you. I have extensive knowledge of plants and their growing conditions, and I can offer guidance on the best plants for your garden. I specialise in creating low maintenance flower beds that are filled with attractive, hardy plants that require minimal care. I can also provide advice on how to care for your plants to ensure they thrive.

Garden Makeovers

If your garden is in need of a transformation, I can help. I specialise in garden makeovers and can work with you to create a garden that meets your needs and exceeds your expectations. Whether you want a modern, contemporary garden, a traditional cottage garden, or something in between, I can help you achieve your vision. I can provide a full design service, including plans and visuals, or I can work with you to develop a plan that suits your budget and preferences.
