Established in 1997, we've been based in our hometown of Stockport for over twenty years, serving both local and national markets. Although we're based in the Northwest, we offer a nationwide service, dedicated to providing businesses with cost-effective solutions for their product and road haulage needs.

Our History

Our company's history dates back to 1997, when it was founded by Norman and Peter Wood. Over the years, they steadily grew the company with their staff, including Stephen Rothwell, Clive Brooks, and Brent Allman, who is still with us today. In May 2018, the business was bought by Jeffrey Hales, who brought his extensive accounting and business knowledge to the table, ensuring stability and longevity for the company. This new era has enabled Vector Freight to grow and expand its services, offering even more competitive solutions to our clients.
