LFS UK is a well-established, family-run business with a rich history and heritage that spans over 100 years. Founded in 1903 by Master Cabinet Maker, Harry Cohen, the business initially started as H Cohen, Upholsterers and Furniture Makers in a small workshop in Kingsland Road, Shoreditch, London. Over the years, the business survived two World Wars, expanded, and developed, taking on the name Harco Upholstery in memory of Harry Cohen. Further expansion resulted in the creation of London Furniture Services (LFS) in 1982, which was eventually re-branded as LFS UK.

Our tailored removable loose covers, upholstered walling, and soft furnishings, such as curtains, blinds, and cushions, are made to the highest standards, and we offer a wide range of fabrics and trimmings for you to choose from.

Our bespoke upholstery service begins with a consultation, where we take all your details to get a feel for your requirements and expectations. We will then arrange for one of our experienced team to come out and visit you in your home or work place, or welcome you to our showroom and fabric pattern book library. At this meeting, we can hold a no obligation consultation which will enable us to provide an in-depth bespoke quotation. Once you are happy with the quotation, we will request a deposit and order any necessary fabrics, frame structures, or component parts.

Our craftsmen will then begin making your bespoke piece of furniture, and we will remain in regular contact leading up to delivery. We will contact you to arrange delivery at a day and time to suit, and to check in with you afterwards. Our team will be on hand every step of the way to ensure that the final product meets your expectations.
