Riversmeet Vets is the largest veterinary practice in Tamworth, Staffordshire and the surrounding area, with two convenient locations in Tamworth and Atherstone. Our team of nine experienced veterinary surgeons and thirteen dedicated nurses work together to provide the best clinical care for your pet. We have more staff with advanced qualifications, great prices, and provide more state-of-the-art services than any other local vet practice.
Our History and Expertise
Riversmeet Veterinary Centre has been established for over 100 years, and we are proud to offer a wide range of veterinary skills to care for your pet. Each member of our team has their own area of special interest, allowing us to provide a high standard of clinical care for our clients. Many of our vets are studying for or have achieved advanced veterinary qualifications. We have particular experience in orthopaedic surgery (bone and joint surgery), soft tissue surgery, eye problems (ophthalmology), heart problems (cardiology), arthritis management, and cancer treatment.

Our services include emergency surgery, dispensary, orthopaedic surgery, laparoscopic keyhole spay, in-house laboratory testing, radiography, digital ultrasound, endoscopy, electrocardiogram (ECG), ophthalmology, dentistry, video consultation service, pet travel vaccinations, flea and worm treatment, microchipping, consultations, annual health checks, pet weight management, senior pet care, pet neutering, and hospitalisation and surgical facilities.

Our facilities are fully equipped to provide the best possible care for your pet. Our Tamworth surgery is also a registered Veterinary Nurse Training Practice. We have two convenient locations, both of which are RCVS (Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons) accredited small animal practices.
