Little Lambs Pre-school

Little Lambs Pre-School, located in the heart of Belvedere, has been nurturing young minds since 1999. We are proud to provide a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment for children aged 2-5 years old. Our dedicated team of professionals is committed to delivering a high-quality educational experience that promotes every child's social, emotional, intellectual, and physical development.

Our Ethos

At Little Lambs Pre-School, we believe that children thrive in a secure, homely atmosphere where they feel valued and respected. We recognise the importance of child-initiated play in enhancing all areas of learning. Our ethos is rooted in the belief that every child is special and unique, deserving of comfort when sad, celebration when joyful, and praise when accomplishing new milestones.

Our Curriculum

Our curriculum encourages children to develop positive attitudes towards themselves and others. We provide individual care and attention, personal support from a keyworker, a safe and secure environment, and appropriate provision to ensure each child can develop their skills and abilities at their own pace. We actively promote family involvement in our activities and your child's progress.

Our Team

Our team is composed of highly qualified and experienced professionals who are dedicated to providing the best possible care for your child. All our staff have a Paediatric First Aid Qualification and are committed to continuous professional development.

Louise Murphy, our owner, holds an NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care and an HNC in Nursery Management. Laura Becker, our Pre-school Manager, has a NVQ Level 5 in Childcare and is our SENCo. We have several Senior Pre-school Practitioners, including Lisa Stevens, Zoe Coleman, and Lorraine Cavanagh, all of whom hold NVQ Level 3 in Childcare and have specific roles in Health & Safety, Designated Safeguarding, and SENCo support. Our team also includes several Pre-school Practitioners and a Trainee, all of whom hold relevant childcare qualifications and First Aid Certificates.

Sessions and Fees

We offer flexible session times from Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 3:30 pm. From April 2024, working parents of 2-year-olds can claim 15 hours funding. Please contact us for our current fee structure.

We follow the Bexley term dates and have a range of policies in place to ensure the smooth running of our pre-school and the safety and well-being of all children in our care. Please refer to our Policies page for more information.

At Little Lambs Pre-School, we are committed to promoting health, safeguarding children, and maintaining a safe and healthy environment. We have robust policies and procedures in place, including a COVID-19 policy, to ensure the safety of all our children, staff, and families.
