At S&K Scaffolding, we are proud to be Southampton's leading scaffolding specialists, with over 30 years of experience in scaffolding design, erection, and hire throughout the South of England. As a family-run business, we have retained a customer-focused, personal service that is highly valued by our customers, and we pride ourselves on ensuring that we continue to build on our already very strong reputation.

Our History

Established in 1980, we have a long history of providing high-quality scaffolding services to a wide range of clients. From providing scaffold for the construction of the Bournemouth International Centre in 1980, to carrying out major scaffolding works for refurbishments for the MOD across the South, we have continued to push the bar in terms of good service, quality, and health and safety.

Our Services

We offer a wide range of specialist scaffolding services, backed up by full liability insurance. Our services include:

  • Marine scaffolding: We consider ourselves to be at the forefront of marine scaffolding and currently have scaffolds erected in most boatyards in the South of England.
  • Industrial / petro-chemical scaffolding: We have had the opportunity to work with many companies for their planned and reactive maintenance requirements.
  • Temporary roofs: We specialize in both tin and system roofs and, once an initial site visit has been undertaken, we are able to advise on the most suitable roof type for your project.

Our Team

Our team is led by Director Jonathan Sweeney, who has over 30 years of experience in the scaffolding industry. Our team also includes Craig Sweeney, who has a background in Health and Safety and is responsible for contract management and estimating, and Cathy Tarvin, who looks after all things finance within the company.

We aim to make working with us as easy as possible and believe that this is achieved with our high level of quality within staffing, materials, and expertise.
