Welcome to the online home of Steve Wallace, a professional musician based in Buntingford, Hertfordshire, UK. With a BTEC National Diploma in Contemporary Popular Music and a Rockschool Grade 8 Electric Guitar Exam Merit under his belt, Steve has had a storied career in the music industry.
Steve has worked with legendary producer Pete 'Pee Wee' Coleman, known for his work with AC/DC, Tears For Fears, and Napalm Death. He has recorded at Division One Studios in Gothenburg, Sweden, and has studio experience on guitar, bass, and drums for various projects, including The Wolves Of Avalon, a band featuring members of Hawkwind and The Meads Of Asphodel. Steve has also performed on the scores for several feature-length films alongside the Prague Philharmonic Orchestra.
As a drummer, Steve regularly performs for Essex function band Radio Video. He also appears regularly in musical theatre and performs as one of two guitarists for 'Forever Jackson', the UK's No.1 and the world's No.2 tribute show to Michael Jackson. Steve has performed in theatres, holiday parks, and hotels across the UK with 'Get Ready' (Soul/Motown), 'WestRock' (West Coast American Rock), and will be behind the drums on a 35+ date UK tour with 'ZZ TOPPD', the brand new tribute show to ZZ Top in 2024.
Steve's own musical project, 'Arise From Ashes', released its debut album in 2015. Steve has performed at major venues all over the UK, including JB's (Dudley), Fibbers (York), Trillian's (Newcastle), The Garage (Highbury), The Monarch (Kentish Town), and multiple stints at the famous Camden Underworld. He has also performed at Dong Open Air 2004 in Krefeld, Germany, the Bloodstock Indoor Festival 2004, and the first-ever Bloodstock Open Air Festival in 2005. Steve has shared the stage with acts such as Children Of Bodom, Edguy, Paradise Lost, Masterplan, Raging Speedhorn, Kill II This, Skindred, Evile, Jeff Scott Soto, Gizz Butt, Martin Barre, 10cc, Asia, Big Country, and Limehouse Lizzy. Steve's biggest show to date was at Global Village, Dubai, where he performed to an estimated 10,000 people, with the entire performance also being live-streamed on social media.

Guitar Tuition
Steve began teaching guitar in 2007 and is an RGT Registered Tutor. He teaches both the RGT and Rockschool Syllabus, achieving a 100% pass rate with all his students who have taken exams. Steve is constantly striving to improve and is also a student himself, studying under the tutelage of world-renowned US Jazz/Fusion virtuoso Derryl Gabel.
