We are proud to be an ARB approved contractor since 2017 and hold Convex Insurance UK Limited Policy, ensuring that our clients are protected.
Environmental Responsibility
We take our environmental responsibility seriously and are happy to provide you with our expert advice. All arising waste material gets returned to our premises for storage and subsequent use in the power generation industry or in agriculture/farming. We are also often involved voluntarily in local projects and the planting of new trees within the local environment. Additionally, we work within the guidelines as set by the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981 and the Countryside and Rights of Way Act 2000.

Our team is led by James Ford, the proprietor, who has a passion for the outdoors and has studied Arboriculture at the world-renowned Merrist Wood College. James has gained valuable experience working for several different major tree surgery companies based in the UK and in Australia before founding Chartfords in 2009. Our team is dedicated to providing a friendly, professional service where you want the best advice for the tree and you.
