Our Services
We offer a comprehensive coaching programme for junior boys and girls, led by ECB-accredited coaches who provide expert guidance and support. Our coaching programme is designed to help young players develop their skills and confidence, with a clear path for progression through each age category. We also provide excellent facilities, including four outdoor nets available for supervised practice, giving young players the opportunity to hone their skills in a fun and supportive environment.
In addition to our coaching programme, we also offer a range of membership options for players of all ages, including junior membership from just 40 per season. We understand that cricket can be an expensive sport, which is why we're committed to providing affordable opportunities for everyone to get involved. We also offer equipment hire and purchase options, so budding cricketers can try out the game without breaking the bank.
Our Facilities
Our Edenside ground is a picturesque and tranquil setting that's perfect for cricket. With four outdoor nets, a batting cage, and a range of other facilities, we have everything you need to improve your game and enjoy the sport. Our pavilion is also available for hire for functions and events, making it the perfect venue for birthday parties, weddings, and corporate events.
Our History
Cricket has a long and rich history in Carlisle, dating back to 1828 when the Carlisle Patriot newspaper reported on a match between Carlisle and Cockermouth. Since then, our club has been involved in many eventful matches and momentous events, including a visit from His Majesty King George V and Queen Mary in 1917. We've also hosted several international teams, including the West Indies and South Africa, and have a proud tradition of producing talented players who have gone on to represent their country.
