Company History

William Walker Transport Ltd has a rich history dating back to 1949 when the company was founded by William Walker. The company started by serving the logging industry, but as the years went by, the company diversified to cater to the growing demands of the oil and gas industries in the North East of Scotland. Today, the company is run by Grant Walker, grandson of the founder, and his daughter Louise, making it a true family business with over 65 years of experience.

Our Services

We offer a wide range of services, including local and long-haul distribution, temperature-controlled transport, refrigerated distribution, air and sea freight, and more. Our fleet of 20 vehicles and 30 trailers is equipped with the latest technology, ensuring that our drivers have the tools they need to provide an excellent service.

We take pride in our accreditations, which include membership of the Road Haulage Association (RHA) and the Federation of Small Businesses. We hold ISO certification to ISO 9001 and 14001 standard, ensuring that our operations meet the highest standards of quality and environmental responsibility.

Our Fleet

Our fleet consists of 20 vehicles and 30 trailers, all of which are maintained to the highest standards. Our vehicles are fitted with navman tracking, providing real-time updates on fleet activity. Our drivers are fully ADR trained and have their DCPC LEVEL D airport security training, allowing us to handle air freight to and from UK airports.
