Bratton Fleming Pre-School is a welcoming and nurturing environment where children can grow and flourish as unique individuals. At Bratton Fleming Pre-School, we believe in creating a happy and settled atmosphere where children feel secure and cared for. We have established a few golden rules, which we discuss and explore in a positive manner with the children. These include careful hands, quiet voices, listening ears, walking feet, sharing, and taking turns. We encourage good manners and an all-friends-together approach, fostering a sense of community and respect.

Our Ethos

Bratton Fleming Pre-School is a happy and nurturing environment where children grow and develop as individuals. Our qualified and experienced staff pride themselves on offering quality care and early years education. Inspiring activities and opportunities encourage exploration, awe, and wonder, fostering a love of learning and laying the foundations for future learning across all seven areas of the Early Years Foundation Stage.

Working in Partnership with Parents and Carers

We welcome families into our setting to share and celebrate the children's achievements and hold special open days throughout the year. We also hold termly Parent's Evenings at the setting so you can talk to the staff and see how the Pre-School is set up ready for the day. All staff are available to speak to and will know your child really well. We have a Key Person/Key Child system in place, where the Key Person's role is to help ensure that every one of their key child's care is tailored to meet their individual needs, to help your child become familiar with the setting and to offer a settled relationship for the child and build a relationship with you as parents/carers.

Our observations and daily care diaries are sent to you on your smart devices (phones, tablets, etc.) through an online system called Tapestry. Further information is provided to parents when they start with us.

Bunnies (Under 2s)

Here in the Bunnies area, each day is an exciting new opportunity for exploration and discovery. We provide a safe and stimulating environment that encourages the development of language, social skills, and physical ability. Our experienced staff work closely with parents and carers to ensure that each child's individual needs are met and that they are supported in their learning and development.

We offer a range of activities and experiences that are tailored to the needs and interests of our youngest learners. These may include sensory play, messy play, construction activities, stories and rhymes, and exploration of the natural world. We also provide opportunities for quiet time, rest, and relaxation.
