LP Diving & Marine Services is a well-established business that has been serving the diving, airgun, and paintball communities for over three decades. Founded by Lance Palmer, a seasoned commercial diver with extensive experience in various diving arenas, our company has grown from a small recreational diving equipment servicing facility to a full-fledged dive centre that caters to a wide range of enthusiasts.
Lance Palmer's background in commercial diving includes working as a marine supervisor in the film industry, where he contributed to the production of several blockbuster films such as 1917, James Bond, and Mama Mia. His expertise and dedication to the field led him to set up his own business, which has now become a trusted destination for divers, airgunners, and paintball enthusiasts alike.
Our current location has been in operation for many years and has built a strong reputation within the community. Our team is comprised of highly experienced instructors who are trained in Scuba, Technical diving, and HSE Commercial diving. Our services are not limited to diving equipment as we also offer air fills, servicing, and repairs for airguns and paintball equipment.
Air Fills
We offer a variety of air fill services for diving, rebreathers, medical, aviation, airgun, and paintball purposes. Our state-of-the-art equipment ensures that the air we provide is of the highest quality, meeting all industry standards.
Servicing & Repairs
Our team of skilled technicians provides servicing and repairs for cylinders, regulators, BCDs, and other diving-related items. We also offer drysuit repairs, including neck seal, wrist seal, boots, and pressure tests. Our rebreather services include full servicing and replacement of parts as per manufacturers' guidelines, with rebreather heads sent to manufacturers for service when necessary.
Dive Training & Instruction
At LP Diving, we provide dive training and instruction for all levels, from beginners to pro standard. Our courses are designed to cater to individual needs, ensuring that everyone learns at their own pace. We conduct our dive training and instruction in small groups or on a one-to-one basis with an instructor and divemaster, providing a personalised learning experience.
Our dive centre has a classroom with a kitchen and refreshment area, as well as a restroom. Pool sessions are held at the nearby Penkridge Leisure Centre, and open water dives are conducted at specially set-up dive sites around the country. Equipment hire is included in the cost of the course if you do not have your own. Course fees include all learning materials, pool, and certification; the only additional cost is the entrance fee to open water dive sites.
Discover Scuba
Our Discover Scuba course is designed for those who want to try scuba diving but are not ready to commit to a certification course. This course provides an introduction to scuba diving in a controlled and safe environment.
Open Water Course
Our PADI Open Water Diver course teaches the necessary skills to explore the underwater world using scuba. This course is the first step towards becoming a certified diver.
Advanced Open Water Course
Our PADI Advanced Open Water Diver course is designed to improve underwater knowledge and skills, building on the foundations laid in the Open Water Course.
Technical Diving & Rebreather Courses
Our technical diving courses offer a variety of options for those who wish to explore deeper waters or extend their dive times. We provide rebreather courses using the latest technology in CCRs, which maximises gas supply and provides an optimum breathing gas for any depth.
