At Sapore Vero, we pride ourselves on our fresh, authentic Italian food and are passionate about bringing this taste to London. Our journey began over a decade ago, when our founder, Giuseppe, became frustrated with the lack of truly authentic Italian pizza in London. As a native of Calabria, Southern Italy, Giuseppe grew up surrounded by the sights, sounds, and flavours of traditional Italian cuisine. He knew that bringing authentic Italian food to London would be a challenge, but he was determined to make it happen.
Our Beginnings
Giuseppe opened his first Pizzeria in Beckenham, South East London, in 2013. The restaurant was a huge success, and soon, word began to spread about the delicious, authentic Italian food being served there. In 2019, we opened a second location in Hither Green, and in 2023, our third location in Crystal Palace.
