G.Lund Ltd is a well-established, family-run business that has been providing excellent groundworks, plant hire, civil engineering, and drainage services since 1989. Starting with a single JCB 3CX and private hire, the business has grown exponentially over the years, now boasting a wide range of plant from micro diggers to 20-ton excavators and all sizes of tipper wagons. Our headquarters, based in Cumbria between the A6 and A66 and very close to the M6, allows us to serve clients efficiently throughout Cumbria, Yorkshire, Lancashire, and Southern Scotland.

Our team of trained, experienced, and skilled operatives is dedicated to delivering high-quality services, maintaining excellent working relationships with both public and private sector organisations. Plant Hire

From our base near Penrith, Cumbria, we provide a wide range of operated and non-operated plant. We take pride in supplying the highest quality equipment, and all our plant operatives are qualified CPCS card holders. Our non-operated plant range includes water pumps, Stihl Saws, jackhammers, rollers, high lift dumpers, micro diggers, mini excavators, swivel skip dumpers, ifor Williams trailers, wacker plates, and wagons. Additionally, we offer plant attachments such as peckers, augers, patch planers, and bucket brushes for various machinery.

Groundworks and Civil Engineering

Our team specialises in groundworks, drainage, and civil engineering projects of all sizes. With nearly 30 years of experience, G.Lund Ltd has built an impressive portfolio of successfully completed contracts. We have collaborated with numerous clients, including W&W Patterson, W.
