Poor Customer Service and Project Management
Several review authors have had a disappointing experience with APS, a company that specialises in fire alarm and intruder alarm systems. Awful experience overall is how one reviewer, Vedaant Patel, describes their time with APS. They report spending a significant amount of money on a commercial alarm upgrade, only to have the project poorly managed and several areas of the installation missed.
In addition, APS failed to adhere to the reviewer's explicit requests, installing additional equipment without approval and blindly charging for the service. The company's customer complaints procedure, if it exists, seems to be non-existent, as all complaints were dismissed.
No Response to Enquiries
Another reviewer, Paul B., had a similar experience when he completed the company's online contact form. Despite chasing up three weeks later, he received no response and was only informed that APS does not provide services for domestic properties.
Positive Experiences
However, not all reviews have been negative. Pride Plumbing Services Ltd, a company that has used APS's services for many years, has only praise for the team's polite and efficient service. David Rowland and Jennifer Derwin also had excellent experiences with APS, praising the company's attention to detail, service, and professionalism.
Engineers and Admin Staff Praised
Jennifer Derwin, in particular, was impressed with the sales representative's helpfulness and knowledge of the products, as well as the admin staff's promptness and courtesy. The engineers who installed the alarm system were also described as professional, tidy, and pleasant.
