Nurturing Little Minds, One Adventure at a Time.
Wren's Nursery sits within the beautiful grounds of Hooke Court, a stunning West Dorset Estate with 40 acres of parkland. Our nursery is situated in Larch House, a spacious, bright, and airy building with a large open plan play area downstairs and a calm and comfortable area upstairs on the mezzanine floor. The ground floor opens into the Nursery garden, which has direct access from it into the beautiful grounds.
We pride ourselves on providing a unique and exceptional early years education, with a strong emphasis on outdoor learning and exploration. Our extensive grounds and use of the outdoor environment set us apart from other nurseries, and we believe that this approach helps to develop confident, curious, and creative children.
Our Services
At Wren's Nursery, we understand that every child is unique and special, and we strive to provide a nurturing and stimulating environment that allows them to thrive. We care for children aged between 2 and 4 years of age, and our dedicated staff team build firm relationships with children and their parents, creating a relaxed and family-focussed setting.
Our nursery is filled with a huge variety of toys and resources, and we place great emphasis on getting outdoors, taking daily walks, participating in Forest School, picnicking in the grounds, visiting the farm animals, and exploring the environment with the changing seasons. We believe that this approach helps to foster a sense of wonder, curiosity, and love of nature in our children.
Our caring and nurturing environment encourages children to become independent, sociable, caring, and confident individuals, preparing them for their future school life. We are proud to have been rated as 'Outstanding' by Ofsted in our most recent inspection, and we continually strive to improve and develop our services to meet the needs of our children and families.
Our Staff
Our staff team are well-qualified, experienced, and long-standing, with a deep understanding of the importance of early years education.
