Welcome to Pen Mill Scaffolding (Hire and Sales) Ltd, a leading scaffolding company based in Yeovil, Somerset, with over 20 years of extensive contract scaffolding experience. We initially started as a small works scaffolding contractor serving the needs of local builders and a variety of sub-contract trades. Since then, we have gradually developed and expanded our material and labour resources to service larger and more specialized projects, both industrial and in mainstream construction.

Our team of qualified scaffolders has a wealth of experience providing safe and efficient scaffolding services, and has developed an unrivalled expertise to offer the best possible service tailored to your needs. We work closely with conservation customers and have worked on prestigious projects such as Wells Cathedral, Truro Cathedral, Salisbury Cathedral, as well as numerous churches across Somerset, Dorset, Wiltshire, and Devon, and occasionally further afield. Our services include the following sectors: domestic, industrial, commercial, conservation, and temporary roofing, as well as free quotations, scaffolding designs and calculations, scaffolding inspection service, and confined space works.

Our Expertise

We are members of the National Access and Scaffolding Confederation (NASC) and have been approved under the Safe Contractor scheme since August 2011. We are also local authority approved and have Confined Space trained operatives. We hold 10m public and employers liability insurance. We comply with the latest NASC Guidance in TG20 and SG4, the Health and Safety at Work act 1974, and the Work at Height Regulations 1995. All our scaffolders are CISRS Certified and all hold current CSCS cards. This is in addition to other training, such as Chapter 8 for Street and Road works, Confined Space, IPAF, etc., as required for specific projects.
