Meet the Team
Event Childcare is owned and managed by sisters Lucy and Sophia, who together have a combined experience of working with children that spans over three decades. With a family of 13 siblings and 28 nieces and nephews, it's safe to say that being around children is in their blood!
Lucy, the Event Manager, is the heart and soul of the business and is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations. With many years of experience working in nurseries, nannying jobs, children's homes, and childminding, Lucy brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to every event. She is also a mother to a spirited 12-year-old daughter and works part-time in a special needs school, further enhancing her ability to care for children of all ages and abilities.
Sophia, the Director of Event Childcare, is the creative force behind the business, drawing on her extensive background in event planning and management to ensure that each event is unique and tailored to our clients' needs. Sophia has spent a significant amount of time abroad, including being a live-in nanny in the USA, making her well-equipped to handle the diverse needs of our clients.
