Our Services

At R Douglas Painters & Decorators Ltd, we specialise in high-quality interior and exterior painting, high-quality wallpapering, stippling, colour spraying, coving, rag-rolling/ragging, glass replacement, gutter repairs, artexing and textured coatings, tiling, and project management for all trades. We also offer a range of specialist services, including exterior protection, water damage repairs, ceiling repairs, wall repairs, all insurance work, and floor restoration.

Interior Services

Our interior services include painting and decorating of all rooms, full preparation of ceiling and wall surfaces, re-plastering/skimming to poor surfaces or to improve surface finish, and paint applications in a range of finishes, from Matt to Traditional emulsion. We also offer high-gloss or Coach finishes for doors, preparation of wood surfaces, doors, windows, skirting boards, with an application of primers and undercoats, and preparation and hanging of lining papers and wall coverings. We are now pleased to offer the services of a colour co-ordinator interior designer, NVQ level 1 and 2, Natasha Bainbridge, who can help with colours and wallpaper choices, as well as special effect requirements.

Exterior Services

Our exterior services focus on long-lasting results, with expertise in surface preparation and applying the best paints and materials. We specialise in period properties and can liaise with your Surveyor or Architect if required. Our exterior painting services include masonry, woodwork, and iron, painting and maintenance of existing external render, painting of fences, sheds, and gates, and supply of scaffolding. We also offer gutter clearing services.
