About Us
Holden House is a friendly family-run guest house, owned and run by sisters Anna and Yulia, and their husbands Andy and Boris. After leaving their hectic urban lives in Manchester and London, they fell in love with Holden House and the beautiful village of Shardlow. Their passion is to share their happiness with their guests by providing a true home away from home feel whilst visiting Holden House.
Our Rooms
Our six en-suite bedrooms are refurbished to a very high standard, with towels and complimentary toiletries included. Each room has its own unique character, with stunning views of the River Trent and the surrounding countryside. Whether you're looking for a cosy double or a superior deluxe king-size room, we have something to suit every taste and requirement.
Shardlow
Shardlow is one of the last remaining 18th century inland port villages, with many walking and cycling trails. The village boasts excellent cask ale pubs, an Indian and Chinese restaurant, and a 24/7 hour shuttle bus service to Derby and East Midlands Airport. All these amenities are within walking distance of Holden House, so you can leave your car and relax.
