Hypnosis and Hypnotherapy

Hypnosis is a state of mind in which individuals are able to reduce anxiety, feel calm and relaxed, deepen self-belief, and enhance feelings of wellbeing. Hypnotherapy involves using hypnosis to enhance the effect of conventional therapy, such as cognitive-behavioural therapy (CBT). Hypnotherapy has been practiced for thousands of years and has been endorsed by the British Medical Association since 1955 as a safe and valuable addition to conventional medical treatment.

At our practice, we use hypnosis to help individuals:

  • Break unwanted habits (e.g., smoking, alcohol abuse, drug abuse, bedwetting, nail biting, stuttering)

We are pleased to offer online therapy sessions for clients living in the US, as well as in-person sessions now that Coronavirus COVID-19 restrictions have been eased. Our online therapy sessions are as effective as face-to-face sessions and provide clients with the flexibility and convenience of accessing therapy from the comfort of their own home.
