Quality of Printing and Service
The reviews of The Print Centre highlight a mixed experience for customers. While some customers were extremely satisfied with the quality of their prints and the service they received, others were disappointed with the outcome and the way they were treated.
Normal Variations in Printing
One customer, Richard Gumbleton, had significant issues with the curl of the pages in his PhD thesis. Despite reporting the problem and sending photos, The Print Centre staff eventually told him that the curl was "normal" and nothing could be done to fix it. This lack of willingness to resolve the issue led to a poor experience for this customer.
Excellent Service and Quality
On the other hand, several customers had exceptional experiences with The Print Centre. Fiona and Stuart Gaskell praised the centre's cheerful and helpful staff, particularly Sam, who resized their picture to fit their frame. Nigel Hanbury was thrilled with the quality of his self-published physics textbook, praising the centre's expertise and attention to detail. Gareth Ingram, Josh Sweet, Lily Evans, and Daniel Harborne also had positive experiences, commending the centre's fast turnaround, great quality print, and helpful staff.
Racism and Discrimination Allegations
Unfortunately, one customer, Sami Salam, alleged that the staff at The Print Centre were discriminatory, saying that the lady attendant seemed to only serve white people and ignored him when he tried to ask a question.
Poor Customer Service and Product Quality
Another customer, Em W., had a disastrous experience. The Print Centre's subsidiary, Semaphore, ruined her exhibition prints, and the staff gave her excuses and dodged responsibility.
