Our People

Our team is led by Caroline Cecil, a seasoned communications professional with over 30 years of experience in both in-house and consultancy-based roles. Prior to founding Caroline Cecil Associates, Caroline served as a board director at Valin Pollen, where she managed some of the agency's most prominent accounts, including NatWest and Visa International. Caroline has served as chairman of the Chartered Institute of Public Relations' Corporate and Financial Group and is a Fellow of the Institute. She currently sits on the Reform Club Media Group and regularly judges industry awards.

Patricia Knox, a strategy and editorial consultant, brings a wealth of experience from her extensive career in the media. She has worked as assistant city editor of the London Evening Standard, chief press officer of the London Stock Exchange, and as a consultant for a variety of Caroline Cecil Associates' clients in the corporate, financial, professional services, and institutional spheres.

Rose Chisholm serves as our account coordinator, utilizing her background as a press officer, administrator, and small business owner to keep the team on track and ensure seamless project execution.

Peter Shearlock is a media and presentation trainer, editorial and strategy consultant with over 40 years of experience in financial journalism, publishing, and consultancy. He has held prominent positions at the Sunday Telegraph and the Sunday Times and has run his own financial newsletter group and magazine for institutional investors. Peter has worked closely with Caroline Cecil Associates for many years, providing media relations advice and delivering exceptional media training sessions.

Fiona Wilkinson, a strategy and communications consultant, boasts a 35-year business career, including board-level roles at Visa Europe and Contis Group, where she honed her skills in external and internal communications, risk and reputation management, and sales, marketing, and change management.

Mike Tate, another strategy and communications consultant, joined Caroline Cecil Associates following over 25 years in financial journalism and seven years in financial PR consultancy. Mike held the position of city editor at The Times and held senior roles at The Observer and the Daily Telegraph. He has extensive experience in covering various business and financial issues and has played a critical role in advising numerous clients on their communications strategies.
