Set in the heart of the vibrant and bustling Clarkston community, Clarkston Bowling & Tennis Club is a family-friendly, community-focused club that offers a wide range of sporting facilities, coaching, competitions, and social events for individuals and families. Tennis Academy
At Clarkston Bowling & Tennis Club, we are proud to offer a comprehensive tennis coaching programme that caters to players of all ages and standards. From mini-red beginners to competitive players, our team of experienced LTA-accredited coaches will guide and develop your game. Our coaching programme includes social tennis, fun tournaments, and events for all members, as well as opportunities for players to compete in the West of Scotland Leagues.
Bowling Club
Our bowling club is a friendly and competitive club that offers lawn bowling for all ages and abilities. Whether you are a beginner or an experienced player, you will find a warm welcome and a range of opportunities to enjoy the sport. We have a well-maintained green, a spacious clubhouse, and a lively social calendar. Join us for a game, a chat, and a cup of tea - you'll be glad you did!
Membership
Through our range of membership packages, we offer top-class sports facilities, coaching, competitions, and social events to individuals and families. We have developed tailored membership packages to suit our members' needs, ensuring that everyone can enjoy the club on their terms, most cost-effectively. Membership runs from 1st April to 31st March, and we also offer social membership for those wishing to enjoy the facilities without participating in sports.
Facilities
Our facilities include five doubles and one singles all-weather, artificial grass courts, one championship-quality bowling green, fully licensed bar, bowling and tennis viewing lounges, junior room with table tennis, changing and shower facilities, kitchen, and large function hall and meeting room, both available for hire.
Social Events
We hold a wide variety of social events throughout the year, including quiz nights, the famous Burns Supper, sportsmen's dinners, Hogmanay Party, and tailored events like Play and Pizza nights for our junior members. Our function hall is also available for hire to celebrate special occasions or for local community groups during the week.
