At Autobreak, we are the longest running scrap metal merchants in Colchester, with over 50 years of experience in the metal recycling business. Our 2.5-acre site, located in Haven Rd, Hythe Quay, Colchester, is where all our business is conducted. We are currently working on a second site in Station Rd, Thorrington, which is expected to be operational by August 2013.

Scrap Car Recycling
With our scrap car recycling service, we make recycling your old car easy and convenient. We collect your car, weigh it, and recycle it, and then pay you via bank transfer usually within 2 hours. We accept all cars, including accident-damaged, non-runners, and uneconomical repair jobs.
Car Parts and Tyres
We also stock a wide range of car parts and tyres at our 2.5-acre site. Our stock includes numerous vehicles of different ages, with a full range of parts and spares. We can also balance and fit near-brand new tyres to your vehicle, at a fraction of the cost of new ones.
