Wood Burning Stoves and Clean Air
There have been concerns regarding the banning of wood burning stoves due to their environmental impact. However, there are no such proposals to ban these stoves. Instead, the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (DEFRA) has included wood burning stoves in their 'Clean Air Strategy'. They recommend installing 'Ecodesign' ready stoves and using ready-to-burn wood fuel. With proper fuel and a modern stove, wood burning remains a clean and sustainable heating option for your home. Central Heating Systems and Accessories
Marches Stoves specialises in the most flexible 'Central Heating Systems', recommended for installation by accredited Worcester Bosch engineers. These systems can be powered by standard wall-mounted boilers, range cookers or stoves with integral boilers. A 'Solid Fuel System' can heat any number of radiators, from one to between 25 and 30.
We offer a vast range of fireside accessories, including fireguards, companion sets, coal scuttles, stove top fans, log baskets, fire gloves and more. For maintenance and replacement parts, we stock various products, such as flue liners, cowls, ceramic door glass, thermic glue, stove rope, glass cleaners, stove paint, flue protector, high-temperature ceramic sealant and spare parts for most of the stoves we supply.
