Keeping the Aviation Legacy of World War One Alive!

The WW1 Aviation Heritage Trust is a registered charity (1156699) dedicated to preserving the legacy of World War I allied and German aircraft. Our aim is to provide an enduring flying collection of these historic planes to educate current and future generations about the aircrews, their planes, and their sacrifice during the Great War. The Trust seeks to promote a better understanding of the evolution of military aviation during this critical period in history.

Our Vision

The WW1 Aviation Heritage Trust is committed to advancing the education of the public, particularly young people, about the history of military aviation and its impact on the world. We achieve this by providing flying displays, dioramas, and educational courses, as well as through flypasts and static displays at commemorative events. We believe that preserving these historic aircraft and the stories of the aircrews who flew them is essential to ensuring that their legacy lives on for future generations.
