Our kitchen team is led by Head Chef Ashley, who brings a fresh new menu to Tristans every few months. Our chefs take advantage of seasonal vegetables, local Somerset and Devon meat, and fresh fish from the Cornish markets to create a varied and delicious menu. Meet the Team
Tristans is run by Ashley and Georgie, a young couple with a wealth of experience in the hospitality industry. Ashley has been with Tristans for 10 years, working his way up to Head Chef and eventually becoming the owner three years ago with his wife Georgie. Ashley is passionate about using fresh local produce and introducing new dishes to the menu while maintaining the high standards that Tristans is known for.
Ashley's Second Chef and brother-in-law, Charlie, has completed his level 2 and level 3 in Professional Cookery with us and is constantly improving his skills. Front of house manager Georgie has worked in the catering trade on and off since leaving school. She strives to provide our diners with a relaxed, friendly, fun, and pleasant experience, whether that's taking your booking, greeting you on the night, or saying goodbye at the end of the evening.
