Our instructors are certified by the Driving Standards Agency (DVSA) and have many years of experience in delivering motorcycle instruction. Our courses are designed to reflect many years of experience and are constantly updated to ensure that we provide the highest quality of motorcycle training. We are proud to liaise with organisations such as IAM, DSA, County Council, BMF, and MAG to name a few, to ensure that our courses are at the forefront of road safety awareness.
Compulsory Basic Training (CBT)
Our CBT course is designed for the beginner who is looking to complete their training and gain their first taste of life on two wheels. Our experienced instructors will guide you through every aspect of the course, from basic motorcycle control to on-road riding.
A Category Course (DAS)
Our DAS course is designed for the rider who is looking to obtain a full motorcycle license. Our experienced instructors will guide you through every aspect of the course, from basic motorcycle control to advanced riding techniques.
A1 Category Course
Our A1 Category Course is designed for the rider who is looking to obtain a restricted motorcycle license. Our experienced instructors will guide you through every aspect of the course, from basic motorcycle control to restricted riding techniques.
A2 Category Course
Our A2 Category Course is designed for the rider who is looking to obtain a restricted motorcycle license. Our experienced instructors will guide you through every aspect of the course, from basic motorcycle control to restricted riding techniques.
Enhanced Rider Scheme
Our Enhanced Rider Scheme is designed for the experienced rider who is looking to improve their skills and confidence on the road. Our experienced instructors will assess your riding skills and provide you with a personalised training plan to help you achieve your goals.
Refresher Courses
Our Refresher Courses are designed for the rider who has not ridden for a while and is looking to brush up on their skills. Our experienced instructors will assess your riding skills and provide you with a personalised training plan to help you regain your confidence on the road.
Our Team
Our team of certified instructors includes:
- Wayne, who has been an instructor for over 8 years and has 2 fantastic young adults. Wayne is a biker through and through and his support and advice are based on years of time-served knowledge.
- Bomber, who is a DSA Certified Motorcycle Instructor with CBT and DAS qualifications from Cardington with the Driving Standards Agency. Bomber has taught at a number of schools in the region and has a wealth of knowledge to share from CBT > DAS. Bomber spots things other instructors do not, which makes him unique and such an asset to our team.
- Dave, who is the owner of Ride-4-Life and the overall boss- that is until Lush tells him differently! Dave is a DSA Certified Motorcycle Instructor with CBT and DAS qualifications from Cardington with the DVSA. He is also a DSA registered Post Test Advanced Trainer (RPMT) and holds a City & Guilds Certificate in Delivering Adult Learning. Dave has passed the advanced motorcycle test with IAM and holds a Motorcycle Emergency First Aid certificate.
- Higgy, who is a DSA Certified Motorcycle Instructor with CBT and DAS qualifications from Cardington. Higgy has trained many beginners from CBT to DAS big bike and has a unique style of teaching.
- Rod, who is a DSA Certified Motorcycle Instructor with CBT and DAS qualifications from Cardington. Rod is married and has two children rapidly approaching CBT stage. Rod believes that riding a moped is a natural follow-on from bicycle riding and before a car test. He believes that good training results in good skills for life. Ride-4-life is where Rod's children will come for their training.
- Dom, who is a DSA certified instructor with CBT and DAS qualifications from Cardington. Dom is a fully qualified time-served mechanic and has many years of experience in the motorcycle industry.
