Our Story

Yvonne Williams, the founder of The Happy Angel Company, has a commercial background primarily in the property market, where she worked as a Senior Sales Executive in Estate Agency. After three decades of high-pressure corporate sales, she decided to seek a change. For a year, she worked for a holiday lettings company, managing high-end properties across the UK. To excel in this role, she learned the intricacies of housekeeping, which inspired the idea of The Happy Angel Company.

Her extensive experience in various aspects of the property world, coupled with her background in sales, customer services, and housekeeper training, has contributed to the steady growth of The Happy Angel Company.

Adapting Our Services During the COVID-19 Pandemic

When the COVID-19 pandemic began to affect the United Kingdom, we quickly devised a plan to continue supporting our clients, many of whom fall into the vulnerable category. During the lockdown, we offered alternative services to minimise the immediate and ongoing impact of the pandemic on all parties involved.

We asked our clients if they would be willing to pay a small retainer to use us as an alternative service instead of just housekeeping. This alternative service included assistance with shopping, gardening, and dog walking, all conducted with no contact. We also had to explain that we had a sizeable waiting list for our COVID-19 company services and that, although some were going into total lockdown, other people were in need of our services.

Our priority has always been the health and safety of our clients and staff. We have implemented stringent measures to adhere to government guidelines and have provided our staff with the necessary personal protective equipment (PPE) to ensure their safety while delivering our services.
