Our kennels are situated between Dungannon, Cookstown, and Magherafelt, making us an ideal choice for anyone requiring dog boarding services in these areas. With nearly three decades of experience with dogs, we take pride in the excellent care we provide to all our canine guests.

Our Irish Water Spaniels are our pride and joy, and we have shown them at Crufts and worked them as gundogs. Our love for dogs led us to open our kennels, and in 2008, we incorporated the Mid Ulster Rehoming Centre, which has been successful in rehoming stray and unwanted dogs. We are grateful for any donations, including dog food, bedding, toys, or financial contributions, that help us care for our canine friends.

Boarding Kennels

If you're going away on holiday and can't take your dog with you, why not give them a holiday too? At Drumbonaway Kennels, your pet will receive the best care and attention in our spacious and comfortable kennels. We exercise all dogs twice daily and provide a menu tailored to their needs. Our aim is to ensure that your pet is happy, healthy, and in top condition when you return from your trip.

In the unlikely event that your pet becomes ill while you're away, we have one of Northern Ireland's top veterinary surgeons on call 24/7, located just three miles away. Our kennel fees are 15 per day, with charges starting on the day of arrival. If your dog is collected before 11.00am on the day of collection, there will be no charge. Our opening hours are Monday - Friday 9.00am - 6.00pm and Saturday 9.00am - 12 Noon. Please note that vaccination certificates must be produced on the day of arrival.

Dog Grooming Parlour

At Drumbonaway Kennels, we also offer a dog grooming service. Our grooming parlour uses the latest equipment and techniques to ensure that your dog looks and feels their best. We offer a range of grooming services, including bathing, trimming, and nail clipping. Our experienced groomers will take good care of your dog, ensuring that they are comfortable and relaxed throughout their grooming session.

Mid Ulster Rehoming Centre

Drumbonaway Kennels operates the Mid Ulster Rehoming Centre, which helps rehome stray and unwanted dogs. We are always grateful for any donations that help us care for our canine friends.
