Our story began in the 1960s when Ivor Spiro and Cyril Dennis joined forces with Martin Garrard to establish Dennis Garrard Spiro estate agency in East London. Over the years, the agency evolved, with Martin Garrard establishing his own agency in North London. In 1970, Ivor and Cyril purchased Douglas Allen in Gants Hill, marking the birth of the agency we know today. Subsequent rebrands solidified our identity as Douglas Allen & Dennis Spiro, later simply Douglas Allen.
