Review:
Ordered a double glazed unit last year from Neil at Hyspec Joinery and paid just under 1000.00 for the job consisting of frame, 2 small and one large glass units. We paid the invoice less than 24 hours after receiving it. Within 10 months of it being fitted this is how it looks. Suffice to say Neil has said it isn't his responsibility, despite us offering to pay for him to send someone to collect the unit and return it to him.
What he did say was that we could arrange for it to be returned and he would assess it. He also informed us, and the person who gave us his name in the first place, that the window would inevitably be broken when it was taken out and that would negate any claim. I suggested that he just reimburse us for the cost of the unit. He didn't seem keen on that idea either. Pride in a good job well done doesn't seem to cut it.
