Our History
Our veterinary practice was established as the original practice in the town of Burnley, with a rich history dating back to the days of James Herriot. Initially, we dealt with farm animals, but over time, we shifted our focus to providing care for companion pets. In 1998, we passed on the large animal side of the business to our neighbouring practice, allowing us to concentrate on delivering the best possible care for companion animals. In May 2001, we relocated to larger premises in Trafalgar Street, which features two operating theatres and improved facilities for our in-patients.

As a RCVS-accredited veterinary hospital, we offer a comprehensive range of services designed to meet the unique needs of your pets. Our services include wellness screenings for cats and dogs, exotic pet care, pet nutrition and weight management, repeat prescriptions, animal health certificates, and emergency care. We also offer a range of offers and promotions, including our popular Pet Health Club, which helps spread the cost of your pet's preventative healthcare and provides peace of mind.

We accept both first-opinion consultations and referrals from other practices. Our referral service is designed to provide comprehensive advice, treatment, and expertise for exotic pets. Our team of specialists has extensive knowledge and experience in caring for a wide range of exotic species, from birds and reptiles to small mammals.
