Company History

SLP was formed in 1995 by our Managing Director, Duncan Proctor, who identified a niche opportunity in the laser cutting services market, specifically within the Machine Knife industry. Leveraging his extensive knowledge and expertise, SLP began sourcing materials and offering laser cutting services, eventually expanding to stock sheet metal and supply materials to clients. This unique selling point allowed SLP to become a trusted name in the laser cutting industry.
