Looby Lous Nursery

Looby Lou's Nursery is a well-established childcare provider in Northallerton, North Yorkshire. We have been serving the community since 1990, providing high-quality childcare for children from 0 to 12 years old. Our purpose-built facility is conveniently located at Finkills Way, Northallerton, with a spacious outdoor play area and a car park. We cater to children's diverse needs and offer a range of services to support their development.

Our Principles

At Looby Lou's Nursery, we believe that every child deserves the best possible start in life and the support that enables them to fulfill their full potential. The Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) sets the statutory framework for the learning and development of children from birth to 5 years old. We aim to provide a warm, welcoming environment where children are supported to reach their individual potential. We strive to offer a childcare place, wherever possible, for all children and will undertake to make reasonable adjustments within the setting to support any child with any learning difficulties and/or disabilities.

Our Rooms

We have six fully equipped rooms, each designed to meet the needs and requirements of different age groups. Our rooms are equipped with age-appropriate resources to ensure the safety, comfort, and development of your child. We also take children on various outings to broaden their experiences and foster a sense of adventure.

Our Staff

Our dedicated and qualified staff work closely with parents and carers to ensure that every child receives the care and attention they need to thrive. Each child is allocated a key-person who will assist in the settling-in process and get to know the child to provide individualized support.

We understand the importance of healthy eating for young children. Our nursery provides freshly prepared, nutritious meals and snacks to support the development of healthy habits. We believe that a balanced diet is essential for a child's growth and development.
