The Vinehouse Cafe is an independent family-run business established in April 2015 by siblings Mollie and Sam Chapman. Located adjacent to the historic Helmsley Walled Garden, we have transformed Victorian glasshouses into a unique dining space offering panoramic views of the gardens and Helmsley Castle. Our commitment to quality ingredients is evident in our daily-changing menu featuring home-cooked meals, homemade bakes, and carefully selected beverages from local producers like Dancing Goat Coffee and Hebden Tea. We were recognised with Visit England's Visitor Experience Award in 2019 for our contribution to Yorkshire's food and drink sector.While we prioritise fresh, seasonal produce from our own garden where possible, our small kitchen requires customers with severe allergies to assess their own risks. Our spacious venue accommodates over 100 outdoor seats and indoor seating, operating on a first-come basis to maintain accessibility for all visitors.
