Our Story

Built in 1887 as part of Waddesdon Estate by Baron Ferdinand de Rothschild, The Five Arrows was originally used to accommodate the architects, craftsmen, and artisans working on the Manor itself. Today, our hotel is a popular destination for those seeking a luxurious and relaxing getaway in the heart of Buckinghamshire. Our name is derived from the Rothschild family emblem of a shield surmounted by five arrows, pointing upward and tied with a ribbon, and we take pride in maintaining the historic character of our building while offering modern amenities and exceptional service.
