Welcome to San Angelo Ristorante, a family-run Italian restaurant located in the heart of Baildon, Bradford. We are a warm and inviting eatery that prides itself on serving the true taste of Italy. Our restaurant is a labour of love, born out of a passion for authentic Italian cuisine and a desire to share that passion with the local community.

Our Story

Our journey began many years ago, when our owner, born and raised in Baildon to Italian parents, first fell in love with cooking. He started his culinary career at the tender age of 15, working in a reputable local Italian restaurant, where he honed his skills and developed a deep understanding of the art of Italian cooking. Over the years, he worked his way up the ranks, eventually opening his own successful Italian takeaway, Pacino's, in Saltaire. However, his true dream was to open a restaurant that would showcase the authentic flavours and traditions of Italy. And so, in 1995, Angelo's "The True Taste of Italy" was born. After years of building a reputation as one of the best loved and most popular Italian restaurants in the area, our owner decided to take a new direction, relocating to Baildon and opening San Angelo Ristorante, where he could focus on creating a more relaxed and intimate dining experience.
