Central Bean has been at the forefront of independent coffee culture since its establishment in 2008. Our journey began in Gallowgate, Newcastle, where we combined our expertise in leisure design with a passion for exceptional coffee. We source premium beans from selected farms in Brazil, Ethiopia, and El Salvador, which are medium-roasted in the UK to our unique profile. Our commitment to quality extends to using La Marzocco espresso machines, renowned as the gold standard in the industry, and a Cirqua Water Treatment System to ensure optimal flavour. Our baristas undergo rigorous training, with some achieving international recognition, including participation in the SCAE World Barista Championships. Over the years, we have expanded to multiple locations, including Morpeth, while maintaining our dedication to serving freshly ground coffee in contemporary environments.
