Design and Engineering

Our designers are experienced in collaborating with clients throughout the design process, from project brief to final CAD rendered design. We can also convert a sketch concept into a reality, providing technical files, instruction manuals, and Certificates of Conformity for all bespoke designs. Our manufacturing overheads are kept to a minimum by using specialist local production bases to produce our components in a variety of materials. Electrical and mechanical assembly work is then undertaken in our dedicated assembly unit at Orpington, Kent.

Production and Assembly

At Blue-Sky Lighting, we produce bespoke designs from one-offs to batch production runs. Our design and engineering expertise is not limited to lighting products alone; we can design and produce any complementary furniture, fittings, signs, and structures. We take pride in ensuring that all our bespoke designs are accompanied by instruction manuals, technical files, and Certificates of Conformity.

Blue-Sky Lighting also has a commercial division that markets a range of standard, readily available LED products. Our LED products are designed and engineered to the highest standards, providing exceptional performance and style.

On-Site Assembly

Some of our designs require on-site assembly and specialist installation. Our team of experienced engineers can handle on-site assembly, providing electrical plug and go connections, mechanical assembly, and finished assembly, ensuring that the installation is completed to the highest standards.

LED Conversions

At Blue-Sky Lighting, we can convert most types of discharge lighting to LED sources, giving many more years of service to existing less efficient luminaires. Our LED conversions provide a substantial increase in lm/W, resulting in less electricity consumed and reduced maintenance costs.
