Sunningwell Pre School

At Sunningwell Pre-School, we are dedicated to providing a nurturing and inclusive environment that fosters the growth and development of happy, confident, and independent learners. Our small, family-oriented pre-school is beautifully situated in Sunningwell village, next to Sunningwell Primary School, and offers spaces for 2-4 year olds, including government-funded places.

Our Philosophy

We believe in the importance of child-led activities and spend lots of time exploring the outdoors and our local community, giving children as many real-life experiences as possible. Our weekly forest school sessions allow children to explore nature and develop their sense of curiosity and wonder. We celebrate diversity and mutual respect, and value each member of our preschool as an individual.

Our Services

Our pre-school offers a range of services designed to support the development of young children. Our staff are experienced, enthusiastic, and committed to providing a high-quality early years education. We offer a curriculum that is tailored to the individual needs of each child, and includes a range of activities such as child-led play, outdoor exploration, and forest school sessions. We also provide a range of facilities, including the Spinney, field, and playground, which are shared with Sunningwell Primary School.

Our Values

We value parental involvement and support, and are always looking for people to get involved in preschool life. We welcome parents or companies who can offer a session activity, such as dance, singing, or a talk from the fire brigade, dentists, or doctors. We believe that by working together, we can provide a rich and varied experience for our children.
