High Oaks is a small, independent care home for adults over 18 who are experiencing mental health conditions. Situated in a serene and spacious location near Diss, in the heart of Norfolk, our home is an ideal sanctuary for those seeking a peaceful environment to support their recovery journey.
Our home boasts seventeen residential places, providing short, medium, and long-term placements. We offer 24-hour care, including waking and sleeping night staff, who consistently ensure the well-being and safety of all our residents. With local towns and Norwich city easily accessible through High Oaks' own transportation or local bus services, we take referrals from throughout the United Kingdom.
At High Oaks, we pride ourselves on our non-judgemental approach, allowing people to be themselves and explore their possibilities and limitations. This approach has led to our proven track record in reducing anger and challenging behaviour, particularly for individuals with schizophrenia, bi-polar affective disorder, and past drug and alcohol mis-use. Our caring and dedicated staff team is led by the experienced Registered Manager, Jane Jiggens, who consistently leads the team toward empathic connection and whole-hearted support for all residents.
