Ab Fab Grooming is a long-established professional dog grooming business with over 13 years of experience, offering a quiet and tranquil one-to-one service for all dogs, small and large. Our City and Guilds level training ensures that we provide the highest standards of grooming, tailored to meet the individual needs of each dog. Our services include nails, ears, glands, wash/blowdry, and all clipping and trimming, as well as specialising in handstripping of all terrier breeds.

At Ab Fab Grooming, we understand that every dog is unique and deserves a bespoke service. That's why we offer a range of services to cater to different breeds, ages, and personalities. From puppies to senior dogs, we provide a safe and calm environment to ensure a stress-free grooming experience. Our services include puppy cuts, big and bold grooming for larger breeds, and timid and tiny grooming for smaller breeds.
Handstripping
Terrier breeds tend to have coarse fur which lends itself to being stripped with finger and thumb once the coat is ready or "blown". This normally has to take place 3-4 times a year to give the new coat time to grow through. An old coat will be itchy and uncomfortable, and by stripping it out, this will ensure the dog remains waterproofed in all weather conditions. We are experienced in handstripping and can guide you on how to determine when your terrier is ready for stripping.
Additional Services
In addition to our grooming services, we also offer a "Spruce Up" service or a "Dirty Dog Emergency" in the event that your dog has found a particular fragrance to roll in or a dirty pond to dip in! If you need help with kennel services, dog walking specialists, or homesitters, or have a question on dietary needs, we have many contacts available to us.
