Our workshop, located near York, is equipped with the latest machinery and technology, allowing us to deliver high-quality CNC machining, cutting, and edgebanding services. We were one of the first companies in the North to invest in this type of technology, enabling us to deliver short run and fast turnaround CNC wood routing services to our clients.
Michael Dowson started the company in 1973 and is proud to work alongside his son Paul, who brings design and technology expertise along with traditional joinery skills to the business.

Delivery Services
At Dowson Joinery, we understand the importance of delivering products on time and in excellent condition. That's why we offer a two-working-day machining and delivery service on some items, or you can collect your items to get them even faster - sometimes even on the same day!
Our nationwide delivery service ensures that our customers receive their products promptly and in perfect condition.
