Advance Scaffolding Lancashire Ltd is a leading scaffolding contractor and erector, based in Bolton and serving the North West of England. Since our inception in 1994, we have grown from a small family business into a company that employs between 45 and 55 professionals, all dedicated to providing our clients with the highest quality scaffolding services.

Our History

Advance Scaffolding Lancashire Ltd was founded in 1994 by David and Carole Ashmore. Over the years, the company has grown and evolved, and in 2004, Daniel David Ashmore, David and Carole's son, joined the team. Daniel underwent extensive training in various areas of the scaffolding industry and has since become a vital part of the business, taking on the role of contracts manager and supervisor.

In 2014, the company made the decision to incorporate Layher scaffolding into our services. After researching the system, we found that it was a quicker, easier system that worked well for our business. We have since transitioned from tube and fitting to Layher scaffolding, fully training all our operatives and new employees in the process.

We are committed to training new young people in the scaffolding industry, starting in the yard and progressing through the COTS course to basic Layher, then onto part 1 and 2 Layher training. Daniel has now taken over the running of the company, with David and Carole taking a back seat but still on hand to discuss matters and decisions.
