Our company directors are a husband and wife team with over 25 years of experience in the field. Jenny specialises in high street practice, while Phil specialises in domiciliary eyecare, providing eye-care to those who cannot access their local practice. Our dedicated opticians, Nick and director Jenny, along with our excellent reception and dispensing staff - Maureen, Dorothy, and Sandra, make up the Eyeworks team. • Free Eye Examinations: Everyone in Scotland is entitled to a free eye test, and we encourage you to take advantage of this opportunity. Our eye tests utilise state-of-the-art equipment to ensure accurate results. Our experienced opticians take the time to explain the process and answer any questions you may have.

• Retinal Photography: This advanced technology allows us to observe the back of your eye in detail, enabling early detection of any underlying issues.

• Home Visiting Optician: For those who cannot access our practice, we offer a specialist home visiting service. Our opticians will bring all the necessary equipment to your home, ensuring that you receive the same level of care and attention.

Our Commitment

Eyeworks Opticians is an independent family business committed to delivering the best possible care to the residents of Beith and Dalry. We are passionate about providing high-quality eye-care services to all, irrespective of their age or financial circumstances. Through the new contract with the NHS, everyone in Scotland is entitled to a free eye examination. We offer free NHS eye examinations from our stores in Beith and Dalry, Ayrshire, including a specialist home visiting service.

The recommended interval between eye examinations is two years. However, certain circumstances may require more frequent examinations, such as those under 16, over 70, diabetics, those with glaucoma or a close family history of glaucoma, or if you have reduced vision, sore eyes, red eyes, or headaches.
