Welcome to The Carriage Burley, Yorkshire's premier bed and mattress showroom. We are a family-run business located in the heart of Burley in Wharfedale, West Yorkshire. Our 3000 square foot showroom is spread over two floors, showcasing an extensive range of premium bed brands, mattresses, divans, and bed frames to suit all styles and budgets.

Our Story

We are a husband and wife team, William and Vicky Golding, who took ownership of the long-established, local bed shop, World of Beds, in 2016. Our number one priority is to offer outstanding service levels, and we strive to make the experience of choosing, buying, and having that bed delivered the best that it can be. We believe in providing exceptional customer service, ensuring that our customers get a good range of quality beds that cover all budget levels.

Our Expertise

As approved stockists of the Somnus Range by Harrison Spinks, we have a large range of beds and mattresses, divans, and bed frames to suit all styles and budgets. We also supply and fit a huge range of fitted and freestanding bedroom furniture, with a free design and "no obligation" quotation. Our purpose-designed sleep studio showcases beds and mattresses from Somnus, Enchanted House Beds, Milbrook, Hestia, and MiBed, as well as other high-quality bed brands. To complement and add further comfort, we sell beautiful, luxurious duvets and pillows from Brinkhaus and The Fine Bedding Company.
