Our founder, Leon Weedon, is a skilled carpenter and joiner with full City & Guilds accreditation, earned in 1993. After gaining experience in the retail sector and spending a decade in the local council's housing repairs department, Leon decided to establish his own carpentry and joinery business. Behind every successful business is a strong support system. Leon's wife, Alex, works part-time as an administrator for the Church of England and assists with the business as needed. She can often be found on-site, wearing her distinctive bright pink L.R. Weedon Joinery t-shirt. Together, Leon and Alex have two teenage sons who occasionally help out on-site during school holidays.

With over 25 years of experience, there are few jobs that fall outside of Leon's skill set. His recent projects include the restoration of a Qing dynasty 'Kang' low table, a full build single-storey extension in Salisbury, crafting new windows and gates for a property in Salisbury, and providing second fix carpentry works on a new extension in Wilton.
