Our Heritage

Wingate Electrical Plc was founded in 1973 by Ray Frewin, who started the company from his home in Basingstoke. With the support of his wife Teresa, the company rapidly expanded, necessitating moves to larger premises in Armstrong Road, Basingstoke, and eventually to our current Head Office in Rutherford Road, Basingstoke. Throughout our growth, we have maintained our commitment to delivering exceptional service to our clients and communities.
